Alyson Blackstock was appointed to the board in July 2018 by the provincial government.

Alyson has been employed with the provincial government since 2008 in a variety of roles. She is currently Assistant Deputy Minister, Environmental Protection Division, Ministry of Environment and Parks. Previously, she held a variety of roles in the BC Public Service Agency, including Assistant Deputy Minister of Employee and Labour Relations.

Alyson holds a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in strategic management from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in human resources from the University of Alberta. She also holds a Master of Trust Management certificate and maintains a Certified Compensation Professional designation.
