Chan-Seng Lee was appointed to the board in December 2010 by the provincial government. He was nominated by the Crown Corporation Employers’ Association. 

Chan-Seng is vice-president, finance and administration, with Partnerships BC, an organization that supports the public sector in meeting infrastructure needs by providing leadership, expertise and consistency in the procurement of complex capital projects. His responsibilities include finance, risk management, governance, information technology, human resources and administration.

He brings to the board more than 15 years of experience in finance, risk management, taxation, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory reporting, information technology, human resources and administration, and corporate governance.

With experience in management and board governance in the public, private and non-profit sectors, he sits on the boards of British Columbia Pension Corporation and the Bloom Group Community Services Society.  Previously, he sat on the board and chaired the audit and risk management committee of a Toronto Stock Exchange–listed company.

Chan-Seng has a bachelor of commerce in finance from the University of British Columbia and a Chartered Professional Accountant designation.
