Alyson Blackstock was appointed to the board in July 2018 by the provincial government.

Alyson is the Assistant Deputy Minister, Employee Relations at the BC Public Service Agency. She oversees a full range of employee relations services, including negotiation and administration of collective agreements, human resource investigations, advice and dispute resolution. She also oversees benefit plans, and classification and compensation governance, for included and excluded provincial government employees.

Alyson holds a master of business administration with a specialization in strategic management from the University of British Columbia. She also has a bachelor of commerce with a major in human resources from the University of Alberta and maintains a Certified Compensation Professional designation.
