Retired members, did you know...
The past service benefit improvement is effective October 1, 2019
Members will receive a one-time increase to their lifetime pensions for service they earned between April 1, 2006 and March 31, 2018. This means retired members will see the change to their pension payments starting in October if they are aged 65 and over. If you are retired, sign in to My Account to see a breakdown of your pension payment.
All members eligible to receive the past service benefit improvement will receive a letter and past service pension adjustment statement starting in December 2019.
You can find the date of your next pension payment under Taxes and pension payments.
